I have had the opportunity to abuse my PW a bit here in our Arizona mountains and I have been generally happy with the performance of my NDTs. It's best to drop the air pressue when doing serious stuff (20 PSI or so). They are really good on rocks, loose stuff, dirt, mud, all stuff we find here in Southern Arizona. I have climbed hills that are usually reserved for the Jeeps with lockers (I can afford to be fearless with a winch as a back-up plan). I had the truck in ice and snow twice and it's not so good, the NDTs look like slicks to an icy surface - I use chains and then there is no problem at all. They seem to wear like iron too and they can definitely cary heavy loads, moreso than the braking system. They are OK on pavement, flat spots are real but the truck rattles so much anyway who cares? I can't imagine being able to even hear any tire road noise no matter how loud. Pretty much impossible to balance the tires and wheels with this setup, I have not even tried. If you want to go fast (45MPH+), then look at radial Buckshots or something - they are designed for more speed.
