My tire guy, who is out in the barnyard putting new rears on my tractor, ($$$!!!) tells me that siped tires take a more pronounced rotational "set", and must be rotated more often than thick lugged tires. he says this is because the siped sections don't return to their original positions relative to each other, and over time, they remain somewhat deformed. I believe I've seen this effect on siped passenger tread tires, where the tread edges seem to mushroom over. I think the NDT lugs are too robust for this to be a problem however.
