According to my factory service manual the Chrysler marine engines came in 230 cu in (Ace) and 265 cu in (Crown) but no 251 cu in. This may be of no help whatsoever but I find it interesting.
There are many differences between the truck engine and the marine version but I don't know if the block will interchange. The head on the marine motor isn't machined for the thermostat.
It is too bad that the crankshafts won't interchange because good 265 cranks are hard to find.
