Go to your local farm supply/tire shop (Southern States Cooperative in my area...) and
get yourself some Co-Op Grip Spurs. They are basically the same tread as the Super Tractions,
but in a non-directional pattern. They dig well in mud and snow and ride well on wet or dry pavement.

I paid $120 each in Central Virgina last year for a set mounted including tubes and flaps.
The shop had them in stock and the boys got a kick out of doing my truck. They made a
big deal about the fact that the wheels had just been sandblasted and painted (they are used
to rusty, dung covered two piece tractor and farm truck rims).

Of course, if I'd hadn't just purchased a pair of Ranger Overdrives this week, I'd go for that set
of 5 9.00R16 XZL Michelins that Charlie knows about...
