My truck is a professional "Ugly Truck" based on winning a contest sponsored by an "oldies" radio station and a local (The really bad "F" word) car and truck dealer. My truck was not street legal at the time. As I was unloading it from the trailer, three contestants left without a word. Because one contestant had a badly neglected ("F" word again) I asked if the contest was for most neglected or truly ugly when new. The judges agreed that ugly when new clearly beat "trashed." I won and proudly display the check stub along with the 2d Place, People's Favorite Truck award I won. The winning truck is an original, unrestored WC-21. Award, $99.00. Ugly is part of these trucks' charm. Who'd want a truck that was cute? Pee Wee Herman and the "C" word trucks wear a bowtie as a symbol of their having the same level of manhood. UGLY is BEAUTIFUL! My UGLY truck can park on top of your pretty Corvette. Uuhhh! Uuhhh!
