found a parts truck, but

i found a '49 parts truck for my '47 but it has a few different things, such as two stage leaf springs in the rear and a grill that has a slight curve to it. is this truck a 3/4 ton or what? if it is what other differences might this truck have ie. gears(diff. trans. or transfer case), brake parts ect. also the bed only has three slots for stakes and mine has four that are "boxier." i appreciate ant help form you.
