How much noise is normal from a transfer case in a 1949 PW? Mine is quite loud, especially at higher speeds. I know straight cut gears are loud, but mine sounds almost rattley. Any problem spots or common problems with them? I use 80w-90 gear lube in it. Could linkage adjustment be a factor? Everything seems to shift in and out OK. Thanks for any and all help.
