I did the same conversion. I took the splined end (male) of
my old intermediate shaft. He measure and counted the splines
looked in his Spicer driveshaft catalogue, and ordered one that
connected the Chevy trannie to my transfer case end
. It wasn't cheap, but I had it in a week.
