I spend a lot of time at www.moparts.com Q&A board, and the poular concenses is that the poly 318 is a valuble and strong engine. They even have some performance parts available for those at their classifieds. Sure, the LA is easier to find, but if you're going to swap it out, start with a 360 or larger. Basically, I'd keep it if I were you. Just my thoughts.
