I saw the price Ray had, ($395.00) but that wasn't including shipping (both ways!). So I think $450-475 would be more in line due to the weight. Actually it will run more with more Hubs shipped.
As to the porportioning valve, I thought I would need one after reading about them in the Hotrod Mags, but apparently (after assembling mine) they are only needed if you go Disc/Drum combo due to the difference in the efficiency.
Mine stops straight as an arrow, using the original (actually it's a leaky M37) Master. I will try to adapt a cheap new $18 dual resevoir Corvette master ('78 had optinal manual brakes, Wow) The price was even with the core charge, so it's hard to loose too much sweat if I don't get it right first try.
