I made a small oil pressure tank that I put a qt of engine oil in. The bottom of the tank is connected to the oil line that leads to the cab oil pressure guage (I used a little "T") and the top end of the pressure tank is connected to my air compressor. I put some pressure in the lines befor putting the pan on to verfy that I didn't have a gusher. I could also verify that the oil pressure guage was working properly. Then I put the engine pan on and put some more pressurized oil in the engine while cranking it over. Finally when I connected the spark and put some fuel to the fuel pump, she took right off with oil pressure an all.

There may be other ways of doing this but that is what I did. By the way, I made my pressure tank out of a empty propane torch cylinder. If you make one, you really want to make sure it is clean before using it. Finally, if you make one from a propane cylinder, take precautions to not blow yourself up!
