you can remove the driveshaft, t-case, etc.
to access the 5th gear and nut. Drain the trans fluid first....however.
The less expensive "fix" is to buy the replacement upgrade nut from Mopar with has a hex bolt off the side. YOu will need to either buy or make a spanner wrench to tighten the nut to 260~ ft #s.
Use locktite on the thread, or be like me and use J-B weld. You will be able to apply around 210 #s before the tranny turns (turns in gear), so you will have to find a way to keep the engine from turning.
or you can go the expensive route and replace the main shaft, cuts into your beer money.
