now who knows 60 to 70 years later what was
done
there are all different sizes of 20 in wheels
each made for a specific size tire 6.50,7.00, 7.50,8.25,and so on depending on the
width of the wheel - 30's & early 40's used
the smaller size tires 6.50 or 7.00
with (inside bead to bead) will indicate tire
size to use 5in wheel 6.50x20, 5.5 700x20
6.00 7.50x20, 6.5 8.25x20
wheels this old should be professionally inspected prior to mounting of any tire
