i did the floor in my command before john started reproing the floors. we built a wood jig to hold the body square when we cut the floor out. be prepared to replace the floor AND the hat channel that supports it. the hat channel is also welded to the body sides to create a 'lip' for the floor to sit on. i remember having a ton of channed bent (aprrox 75') to do the whole truck. it took a lot of time to punch the hat channel to plug weld the floor and sides together. be willing to take the time to find a good metal shop to do it. MAKE SURE that you have the taigate in place and use the hinge as a reference point for getting the alignment. the door's fit is highly dependant on the floor's fit. i used heavy sheet metal to make up for lack of rolled stiffeners. we cut out and reused the gas tank sender cover and fill pieces. be careful when replacing the hat channel to keep the body to frame mounts.
