need to pull the head, check the head gasket
then remove pistons BEFORE you order any parts as the pistons could be damaged ?
if not you need to know the size before you
order any rings
fixing the problem (not rebuilding the whole
engine) was the proceedure used in the 40's
50's & early 60's before law suits
if a shop did that today to help out a customer and it did not work the way the
customer thought it should - guess what would
happen.
