I would suggest that now is a good time to learn the art of oxy/acetolene and welding with a flame. It's lots of fun and the bottles can also be used for a torch. I highly recommend taking a course at the local community college to get the basics down and It shouldn't be to expensive to take the class. Arc is good for brame and bumpers and that but exhaust is much more intricate. College is where I learned to weld. No one else would teach me. It was always "Bring it over and I'll just do it for you." You are never to old to learn and If you can already stick weld then your on your way to learning this. Good luck!
