The front hood slopes upward from the flat radiator cowl to the arched cab cowl just underneath the windshield, so the vehicle was either a Carryall or Ambulance. The hood is not a flat hood as used on a Command Car or on a Weapon Carrier, ruling them out. The M601 would have had a PW type of hood, level across the top, with a PW high radiator cowl, so it is not a M601.
