Throttle Positon Sensor. Can't spell but that is what the TPS is. I haven't changed mine out yet but Ugg says It's pretty easy to do. My Durango Has been acting strange lately and having alot of the same symptoms as Ugg described and so I am going to do it. I believe in the old "ounce of prevention worth a pound of cure" SO even if that isn't my issue It's worth swithing out. My stupid Intrepid had the TPS die and I couldn't even start the dumb thing. So I am actually going to remove and replace all my sensors now before it hits 200K (its at 170k now) cause that was when I started having problems with the Intrepid (at 200k).
