1935 DODGE with WAYNE School bus body # 5031...1997 DODGE 3500 4X4 running gear....5.9L Cummins turbo diesel (intercooler disconnected), 4 speed HD automatic transmission, shift-on-the-fly part-time 4X4 transfer case, 4.09/4.10 rear axle ratio, anti-spin differential, quick-ratio variable assist power steering, power front disc brakes & rear drum w/ anti-lock, original 1997 Dodge dash with AM/FM/cassette radio, aux. power outlet, 2 speed intermittent wipers, cruise control, power drivers window, original 139" W/B, trailer hitch, alloy wheels, radial tires, 4X4 dually chassis
Originally built in Wisconsin..traded into a used school bus dealer in Arizona.....purchased from him in 2004.... Front fenders, grille shell, and hood panels are fiberglass..........fuel tank is on L/H side and is partially covered by a "wooden coffin" looking cover....."Jesus motif" interior....., passenger seat w/ lift up storage compartment, 3 person bench seat at rear w/ no seat belts , carved wings & 1935 Dodge sign over bench seat, wooden posts etc etc.....headliner has been removed, tinted windows w/ grape leaf decals in corners, crank down passenger window, carved wooden " marijuana leaf" drink holder for passenger. Check out the "Locomotion" sign under the sun visor...the "BULL" hood ornament and the fake exhaust stacks coming from the hood.!!!!
Bus runs down the road on cruise at 70 like a dream......endless possiblities for this cool old bus......plus it will go in the snow etc etc.
Needs some head light and brake light work...but otherwise drive it home !
