Thank you to everyone who has served and is serving in the armed forces for your sacrifices and efforts to keep us free. We would live a very different and cruel world without your sacrifices.

It snowed a little bit here in SW Wyoming Saturday night with frost on the windows Sunday, Monday and Tuesday mornings. Monday, we had a brief snow squall go through with near white-out conditions for a few seconds.

My '57 Town Wagon started up and runs great using a outboard motor tank. This beast sat for over 25 years in a garage and started like it was parked yesterday. The engine is very smooth and quiet. I tried rocking it in all gears, and the clutch and gears work great. I couldn't drive it around because of the boat tank on the ground under the Town Wagon.

Bob Ibbottson of Denver went through Rock Springs and left a nice old Power Wagon at Steve Wataha's shop Monday. I got to see it just after he left. I wish I had arrived a bit sooner to meet Bob.

The varnish on the stake sides of my '49 Power Wagon is weathering badly, so I'm in the process of sanding it all off and applying a good oil finish. It's about half finished now. Hopefully, it will be ready for the Idaho Trail Ride.
