I recently bought two WC/FFPW throttle return springs from him for $13.50 (ebay bid) and it cost me $4.50 air mail which I thought was very reasonable. A nice addition to the deal was the original WW2 box they were packaged in. I could have paid $7 each and $10 shipping buying in the U.S., and not got the box, an item I value also.

Bottom line - If you’re looking for parts that were used mainly in Europe, you may have no alternative except to pay what is necessary to get it, especially if you are doing a restoration. Some of those none standard pieces are rare in the U.S. and you can spend a lot of time looking, not find it, while someone else is looking and will pay it, and you lose out. In considering the rarity of some of these parts, and if they are needed, and by chance you can find them, I suggest to anyone looking, pay what it cost for the part. Bulbs and fixture assemblies should not weight too much and who knows, he may get that original WW2 box as a bonus.
