Yeah, in looking at it again I think you're correct. Those do look too large to be 9.00-18. The problem I would have is first, as you mention, finding a set of 5 on 8, 18" wheels. Then these wheels would probably be too narrow for the 11.00-18 tires.
Still looking to do the T34/35 swap? I know Spring is running out on us here in another month so it might have to be a summer meet?
