As my truck nears completion, I thought I would love to see someone drive it, who knows how. ( non-syncro trans ) In my teens I was a Jr. Volunteer fireman, there were "old timers" ( no offence ) there who would drive an old mack,('48 I think) like some one who drive's a modern car or truck, just flawless. Upshift, down shift it did'nt matter.
I know the theory of the non syncro, and need alot of practice. I just wish I paid more attention to the foot work and the engine sounds. Seeing is beliving and I learn alot faster watching. Anyway the "old timers" are gone, either moved away or have passed on.
I just wish I could ask a couple more questions.
