When you can't Dodge it RAM it. I used to have a CDL But gave it up for a quieter life. People just don't understand how much you really have to go thru to get your load in and on time. My dad has been driving since he was 21 and is now 64 and he has seen some messed up stuff and I have buddies who are highway patrol and they all say every single semi-truck related accident is the fault of the person in the car and never the fault of the trucker! Most (notice I didn't say all) truckers are good drivers who try to be nice to everyone on the road. The problem is that 90% of the car drivers don't have a clue about how to drive what they have even if they think they do. I personally think that Every driver needs to take the CDL course Even If they choose not to drive Big Trucks they will at least understand what it take to do so.
