Time, work, girlfriend, and other projects I need to finish keep me from accomplishing much on this project, so I'm thinking of selling and/or buying/trading for something else, preferably Dodge, like a late 50s-early 60s W200 or non-FF W300 that needs some work. Crew cabs are interesting.
The Carryall is VIN# 8675687, delivery date of 4/29/41 from the tag on the dash. No title at present, but am working on that and may have one in a month. The truck was found in a Missouri junkyard by Dan Shockley with an IH V8 loosely installed with the firewall and crossmember cut a bit and many parts missing. I found another rusted out frame that provided an engine (D42-264860) from a later Dodge car, and the entire drivetrain and some other frame bits. I removed the IH junker and have the Dodge six installed, but need to reinstall the driveshafts. The truck needs quite a bit of work, and has no hood, windshield frame, one headlight and many other bits. The good is that is has a set of rear doors, extra radiator, carb, axles and wheels/tires, three of the four window winders are there, the rust isn't too severe compared to many other WC projects. The truck has been stored indoors for the past couple of years. I have some pics of the truck when I first got it that I can send. Located in Plainfield, IL
