..the Oil Eater and other citrus based cleaners are. I don't know if you'd consider them "solvents" but they are excellent and biodegradable cleaners. First "discovered" as a cleaner by a Hughes Aircraft Engineer, orange cleans better than TriClorethylene3, which was the cleaner of choice in the electronic and areospace industry for many decades, the unfortunate side effect of TCH3 was the high mortality rate of the users, it is one of the most carcinagenic agents known to man, but until the discovery of citrus cleaners it was about the only cleaner that worked on printed circuit boards and microchips. Adapter to use in other industries, citrus cuts oil and decades of built up scum in amazing fashion, come to think of it, after talking about decades of old scum, I wonder how many gallons it would take to clean up the US Senate......
