The frame was bent when I saw it, but I thought all the small parts were still there. The high-pressure Bean fire pump was the coolest thing about it. Apparently they once had a theory that you should spray mist on a fire, which would then turn to steam and drive the air away, putting out the fire without using so much water.
But what does he expect, leaving it in an unwatched storage yard within sight of the highway, and I shouldn't say it, but lots of mexicans driving by? No doubt it was his grandpa's and he's gonna restore it someday. Meanwhile it's worth a million dollars, though of course he'd never sell it. Am I right?
