That picture is what I have . My 52 has the hole and my 55 does not .The 55 does not even have the machined spot. The casting date is 8-55. I wonder if it was not used for something in the machining process or in the foundry . I did wonder if it was a 6x6 case only because i have never seen one. Thanks for the good info!
