sealing up pinholes in oil pan

any ideas on how to seal up pinholes in the weld seams? i had to make significant modifications to my 3-53 oil pan but now i can't seal up the pinholes. i tried brazing but only warped and cracked it to the point i ruined it. on the second pan i tried solder but even with flux i can't get it to stick. this is driving me nuts. spread some epoxy on the inside ? would it stick? i don't want it to come off and get sucked up into the pump. ARGGHH !!!
