I can't get to my truck but once a month.
So I imagine that it has to start pretty dry.
They seems to make sense.
My big CAT generators have something similar.

P.S. since adding STP my starts have been flawless.
Anecdotal evidence, I understand, but it was the only thing I changed and it seems to have cured the problem.
