I don't have a problem with people being proud of who they are. (Heck, my wife and I have Norwegian and Danish flags in our house!) But don't disrespect another country to do it. Especially the country you're asking to be part of!!! What sense does that make?!?!? You want to live here, but you hate the country?!?!...
The high school kids in CA that left classes to go out and take down the American flag to hoist up the Mexican flag with the American flag underneath - UPSIDE DOWN - went beyond disrepect. (I saw the News article with photos, no urban-legend here...)
Sad... very, very sad...
