I put a new air cleaner on the Ram this week, now my fuel mileage has shot way up, I was cruising at 40 mph @ 1600 rpm and was getting 35 mpg. That got me thinking about driving over to your place for lunch, but at the rate I'm saving fuel, I'd have to stop every 340 miles and siphon 35 gallons out to keep the excess from spilling out of the tank, sadly I don't have enough empty jerry cans for the 6,000 mile round trip, I figure I'd need enough cans to store the 617 gallons of extra fuel that I saved...= ( If only you lived closer I wouldn't save so much and could make the trip with only 10 empty cans to store the fuel in........would the bumper harm my fuel economy enough to make the trip feasible?
