Okay, all I knew was you had a Republican governor. I figured that made it Republican-run. Guess not. I remember reading the California libs crying about all the awful things Arnold was going to do if he got elected. I guess he didn't do them.
The Republicans seem to do a pretty good job of running Idaho, so I guess it depends on the state. I still say I'd rather have a citizen-run state than a Republican- or Democrat-run one. Both parties waste most of their ample hot air on criticising the other party instead of figuring out how to make the government do what it has to do as efficiently as possible and then get out of the way.
