underinflation at highway speeds with the michelin 11.00 - 16 XL radials, after I started airing up to 45-50 lbs the sidewall splits have ceased! otherwise, I run radials on most all my trucks and have never had a tire problem due to the wheels, except for spinning a tube once in a while due to way under inflation I usually run the tires at 25-28 psi off road and 45-50 on road.
