the only difference is that the lock ring
is held in place by bolts (the lock ring is the same dimension as the standard wheel lock ring) this is to allow the assembly with the run-flat bead lock ring in place
now the internal run flat ring might not work in the Michelin (or any other modern NDT or bias tires) as the bead foot is probably not as wide as the original Military NDT tire bead foot
also Radial tires DO NOT LIKE TO BE RUN without air
