throw a bottle of Heet in it to be sure. cheap way to find out. The best fuel additive is PSP. it is only available in marine product stores. it is designed for fuel that sits, and acts like an octane booster. I have poured it into boats with 2 year old gas and it made them run beautifuly. Then I ran it in my 63 Riviera and the result in perfromace was almost as good as an Avgas blend.
