Well then we agree to disagree. Much of what you said is true, but our consumption in the US only goes up about 1% per year. OPEC has tried to boost production to drive prices down but news and politics keep oil trading in a frenzy. Look at the price of gold lately fear of economic instability drives the price up hand in hand with more demand. I never blamed oil comnpanies, it just is what it is
