My uncle had one in 46, it was the only car he could buy with the money he won in the endless poker game on the Missouri, on which he returned from Gaum in early 46. Cars were tough to get until war time production stopped and civie cars production resumed. I think he said it cost him $650. Very advanced car, it even had a vaccuum assisted clutch, like power brakes.
