one thing to consider
industrial/marine engines are designed to run
most (sometimes all) of the time at a constant rpm (usually fairly low by automotive engine standards) so they may not
be suitable for a non industrial/marine application
might be money ahead to just fix what needs to be fixed on the engine you have. complete
rebuilds are not allways needed - sometimes a valve job or ring & valve job might do just fine as that what was done most of the time when these rigs were in service
