...What are you trying to accomplish? The DOT 4 fluids are plenty adequate for a Power Wagon braking system. The only people still using DOT 5 are the military and they have been looking for ways to convert back for several years. There are newer high performance DOT 3/4's called DOT 600's that have much higher boiling points than older DOT 3/4 fluids and do not have the drawbacks of DOT 5 silicon. Mopar no longer uses anything but DOT 3/4 in their new vehicles. High performance uses in european sports cars and racing sanction bodies all specify DOT 3/4. BMW and other European manufacturers specifically prohibit the use of DOT 5 in their systems.
Use a good quality DOT 3/4 and change/flush your system periodically and you will be fine. Brake fluid is like engine oil, it's not designed to be left in there unattended for 43 years....= )
