Check the sealing surface on the yoke. If its not perfect, it will leak. You can get speedie sleves from NAPA. The sleeve goes on the seal surface on the yoke. The speedie sleve can be bought with a matching seal. The old seal will be the wrong size when using a speedie sleeve.
Have you blown air, (my mouth) thru the vent to be sure the disk inside is truly releasing? A little puff of air and you will feel the disk check valve release.
Be very careful when pulling a third member. I have a tranny cradle that mounts on a floor jack. I had a third member chained and ratchet strapped to the cradle. Somehow it came loose and dropped off the cradle, hitting my little finger. Lucky it only got the edge of the skin or it would have smashed the finger. When it fell, it was so fast there was no time to react.
