I took a quick look through the registry (faster then digging through my images), and I found that all the trucks built before 83910000 had the old style tag like you have. All the trucks after 83910000 have the later style tag like the one pictured above.

Of course I could not find 83910000 or anything within 300 trucks of 83910000, but that looks like as good of a split as any.

If anyone has a truck closer to the split I would like to hear from you, if I knew when the split was made I could update the VIN tag page to cover the change.
