so that you know when I replaced the front drive shaft in ramcharger I was able to remove the shaft from a 96 pickup that was the same as the tranny/tc and had a local machine shop lengthen it to go with the 5 inch lift and it fit !muy bueno! th ram is a 79 the front axle is from a 3/4 ton 86 and the shaft like i said is from a 96 and she still stomps up the road.
