The 1966 Dodge Truck poly 318 should have the numbers B318 stamped into it followed by the sequential build number, or maybe the B318 is followed by a date (that is what the books claim).

Did you go to my site and look at the pictures of the numbers on the poly 318?

Are you sure you have a poly 318?

Did you remove the paint to check for numbers?

If you have checked all of that and there are for sure no numbers then I would guess you have either a replacement block, or one from some other application.

I would look and see what other 1966 poly 318 engine numbers look like and try and make yours close to that.

I attached an image of one B318 poly number to this post.

If I dig I may have more.
