I understand where both you and the seller are coming from.
He considers all the flat fender style trucks to be military, which is a common mistake, and something I do not feel the need to correct every E-bay seller about.
He is correct about the 1957 4wd trucks that used the 2wd cabs to be the first of the factory 4wds, at least as long as you are only talking about light duty trucks.
I know the 1956 HW was the first 2wd sheetmetal 4wd truck that Dodge made, but so few folks know about them that I am not surprised the seller did not know about them.
I am trying to get the VIN number and engine number first, but they took a long time to get back to me, and they still have not answered my questions.
When I get an answer I will be happy to correct them.
