There's a filter on the intake in the tank. You can get to that under the access panel in the bed. You might want to add a filter somewhere else. I think early trucks had a sediment bowl mounted on the same bracket that holds the voltage regulator. You must not have one since you didn't see it, and I've never seen one except in manuals. The lines on the intake go the the gas tank (or dist? I forget, I've spent probably 2 years of my life under an M37 and I forget where the lines go?) and the brake master cylinder, waterproofing. Have you been over to the m37 forum (linked to this page)? Not that you're not welcome to post M37 stuff here, we do all the time, it's not OT. If it came out of a Dodge factory, it's T. Nice truck!
