Thanks for the info on the first series beds, I have always wondered if the brackets changed when the 2wd trucks changed brackets.

I have seen two versions of the bracket in the picture, one with the two larger holes seen here, and one with the two larger holes merged into one even larger oval hole.

If this is the next bracket, how long was it used? 1953? 1956? I know all the pickup beds on regular cab trucks from 58-65 1/2 that I have seen use a different style bracket and bucket which I think is correct for the W300M-WM300 style trucks of that era.

I have seen factory pictures of WM300s using the 65 1/2 and up regular cab stepside rear tail lights and buckets, which have a larger lens, and a longer bracket then the 58-65 1/2 trucks.

Anyone have more info on the 51-57 PWs?
