230 s are out there. to make my 230s go better I shave the cylinder head .050 to .075, then have my cam ground more aggressively for more HP. low cost upgrades that make a world of difference. I also sometimes enlarge the jet inside the carb to commpensate for the bigger cam. I liike the 230 for offroad. the very long stroke gives the truck great abilities at very low rpms.
