The reason that they show the NV4500 in the 93 service manual is cause they used that trans... behind the gas powered trucks! The Getrag was only used behind the CTD trucks! The change year for the NV4500 being used behind a CTD is 94 and it is a heavier duty unit then the NV4500 used behind the gas powered trucks!
