In 1957 the Flat Fender PW was called a W300, which is confusing, but there was no 2wd cabbed 1 ton 4wd made in 1957. Dodge only made the W100 and W200 model trucks with the 2wd cab in 1957.

In 1958 the Flat Fender was called the W300M, and the 2wd cab 1 ton 4wd was called a W300.

These names stayed the same in 1959, and then from 1960 to 1968 the Flat fender was a WM300 and the 2wd cab 1 ton 4wd was still a W300.

I am not sure when Dodge went to a W350 for the standard 1 ton 4wd, but by then the FLat Fender was an export only model or no longer in production.
